5525 PHOTO PIR AA WI-FI
5525 PHOTO PIR AA WI-FI
New!
Wireless motion detector, with anti-masking and integrated camera
This device is a volumetric motion detector with PIR (passive infra-red) technology and anti-masking device, which functions as a radio detector but also incorporates a camera with lighting, capable of taking pictures of the environment and sending them by Wi-Fi. Transmission can take place to a Silentron Silenya HT central unit, fitted with the special Wi-Fi code 3796 receiver plug, or to an Access Point router present in the premises and with open access to the Web. So PhotoPir can operate either in the context of a Silenya HT alarm system, or independently in a “stand-alone” fashion: in both cases, to transmit immediate photographic confirmation to what is detected by the detector itself.
Installation characteristics
The absence of wiring favors the correct positioning, which is essential for the proper functioning of PhotoPir, which is fixed to the wall or better in a corner, at a height of between 2 and 2.5 m (see the figures of the area protected). A special support code 80850 is available for corner installation. Pay attention to the adjustments, which must always be suitable to protect the environment (sensitivity, pulse counting, double alarm, temperature compensation, anti- LED masking, tampering and exclusion), as well as the detailed programming of the address of the integrated camera.

Operating characteristics
Volumetric protection of rooms up to 50 square meters, with photo-verification of the event.
Food
3 AA 1.5V batteries, which provide an autonomy of about 18 months with normal use. The battery life can decrease noticeably also in high traffic areas, as well as with frequent photograms.
Self-protection
Communication of the opening of the device and its detachment from the wall.
Radio transmission
Dual frequency simultaneous DualBand in accordance with EU legislation. Sufficient range for use. Data (images) over a standard 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection.
Inspection and test by temporarily removing the unit from the support, in addition to
To transmit the tamper alarm, the device is placed on test for three minutes to allow testing of the range of the PIR without the block after the first alarm. The device will remain in the test at all times when you open the cover. The camera test happens by activating the camera, simulating an alarm and checking that the images are received correctly: it is recommended to temporarily exclude sirens.
Operation
The PIR part works like the other similar products available in this catalog, but allows the pre-activation and deactivation of the camera by a radio control from the control unit (in an alarm system) or by a dedicated remote control (stand-alone): in the In two cases, the images, with a resolution of 640 × 480 pixels (VGA), are captured only after alarm from the PIR (motion detection) part. In a system
alarm the camera transmits to the Silenya HT control unit, which by MMS or e-mail sends the photos to the programmed recipients. For stand-alone installations, photos are transmitted over the network using the local access point.
Photos on request:
In both installations, remote commands are provided to obtain photo on demand, but in the “stand-alone” case it is necessary to supply PhotoPir permanently by a standard 5V transformer for Access-Point with mini-USB output.
Attention: Only in the context of a Silentron system is the reception of photograms guaranteed even in the absence of electric current!
Device local signals
PhotoPir has alarm / test leds. After each alarm transmission, five consecutive audible signals also locally signal the need to replace the batteries.
